This work presents a geologic map of the state of Sonora, Mexico, that was compiled to the scale of 1:1,000,000 and it is accompanied by an isotopic database. Both are compilations of published works and include personal observations and interpretations. This is an updated version of a map published in 2006 which was elaborated on topographic base maps and is now re-digitized adding a relief map. The map is composed of 33 cartographic units, each recognized on the basis of their lithology and age and shows the location of 1,129 U-Pb, K-Ar, and 40Ar/39Ar isotopic ages of igneous rocks and Re-Os ages of mineralization.
